Getting Started with Knowledge Hub
The Knowledge Hub is where your organization's security documents live inside SecureSlate. When AI generates answers for security questionnaires, it draws from these documents and cites the source, so every answer is grounded in your actual policies and evidence.
What to add
The Knowledge Hub works best when it reflects what you would share in a security review:
- Policies - Information Security Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Incident Response Plan, etc.
- Certifications and reports - SOC 2 reports, ISO 27001 certificates, penetration test summaries.
- Procedures - Onboarding checklists, access control procedures, business continuity plans.
- Compliance evidence - Any document that proves a control is in place.
The more complete your Knowledge Hub, the fewer gaps appear when AI generates questionnaire answers.
How it connects to Questionnaires
When you generate answers for a questionnaire, the AI draws from whatever is currently in the Knowledge Hub. Each answer includes a citation back to the source document so you can verify it before sending.
If the Knowledge Hub is empty or missing key documents, questions will be marked as gaps for manual review. Keeping it up to date directly improves answer quality.
