Two types of tests in SecureSlate

SecureSlate includes two types of tests to help you meet control requirements:

• Platform tests: These are mostly policy tests and automated tests. They validate your security posture through connected integrations (e.g., continuous checks and automated evidence collection).
• Document (evidence) tests: These are for cases where automation isn’t available. You upload evidence manually (screenshots, PDFs, exports, and other supporting artifacts) to satisfy the control requirement.

Connect your integrations first via the Integrations page wizard to unlock the full power of real-time monitoring and automated integration tests.

All tests are properly mapped to specific controls, ensuring comprehensive coverage and a seamless audit process—every test result directly supports your control evidence for auditors.
